Philip Jacobs' Japanese Chrysanthemum Jacket

Today I took time away from quilting to make myself a jacket.  I've been obsessing about Japanese Chrysanthemum "Antique" for a while, and thought I needed some of that beauty in my wardrobe.

First of all, the fabric really sews like a dream for garments.

Second, the pattern was very simple (just three pieces).

Third, it only took three yards.

I think it is beautiful.
